Do you all recall the issue Samsung was having in regards to the Galaxy Note7’s that were recalled due to the devices exploding because of the batteries overheating. Well after several months Samsung has stated, “They stand behind the quality and safety of the Galaxy S7 family.”
There was a poll taken and the U.S has spoken, the poll found that Samsung’s customers were loyal to their brand. Among those that were aware of the recall 27 percent would first consider the Samsung smartphone if they were to shop for a phone, 25 percent would look first at a Samsung device that didn’t know about the recall. The Reuters/Ipsos poll measured how interested people were in buying the Samsung phones, not much the recall directly influenced their decisions.
Samsung says,” Customers choose another Samsung model as a replacement for the Note 7 in the majority of instances as of November 4. The Note7 was discontinued in October due to exploding issues. However, Samsung will launch a glossy black version of the S7 in early December according to a report by The Korea Herald. The chances of these phones having serious battery issues are low, since the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones have been on the market much longer than the Note7. Will you choose to buy the glossy black color when it comes out to the market?
