If you haven’t noticed there has been an increasing number of iPhones users reporting an issue with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The touch screen seems to be unresponsive to touch and is freezing up.
Speaking from a personal experience I myself have gone to repair my phone several times for the same issues. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of money that has been spent to replace the screen. I thought I was the only one experiencing this issue, turns out there is a huge percentage of users experiencing this problem. The issue even has a deadly sounding name: “Touch Disease.”
Some phones have been bending, which leads them to breaking. Fixing this issue called the” touch disease,” is costly. Apple will quote you $329 for replacement cost on the phone. Ouch! That is pricey if you ask me. Of course, you can find less expensive replacement costs from a third-party repair shop and save money, but be careful, because it is a very difficult repair.
Apple has not publicly commented on this issue at all, although former Apple employees have said, “That the company appears to be aware based on internal recommendations for repair.” According to Business Insider they have contacted Apple for comment about three times about this issue and has not received a response. Have you dealt with the same issue, what have you done to fix the problem?
