Instagram might be getting ready to add another feature to the app. As many of us know there are many social media outlets to spread the word about just about anything. Snapchat and Instagram have been going back and forth with their updates lately. Seems as Facebook has been testing the waters with the new live video service on Instagram in its continuing battle with Snapchat.
Live streaming has become quite popular among millennials and it’s only going to sky rock it from here. Everyone with a smart phone or computer seems to be live streaming as long as they have working internet connection. Instagram has not yet officially named the new feature but what we do know is what the Russian website had to say, the button to initiate the live streaming had the words “Go Insta!” It shouldn’t be long before we find out if everything goes well.
If Instagram does plan to invest in live video streaming for its app it wouldn’t be a surprise if it would choose stories as the place to implement it. A translated version of T Journal says that a “live” action icon will bring users to a separate area of the app called ‘popular live broadcasts. The “Go Insta” button appears when users use the camera function of the app to create videos and the ‘Schedule’ button is displayed in the top right corner. The screen shot and video reveals a schedule option just like Facebook. What do you guys think will they reveal the new feature soon?
