As you might know technology is soaring through everyone’s day to day life. Well it’s not every day you hear about woman in the tech industry. Well we all know women are becoming more and more successful each day. Every woman has a unique story about where they are today.
Meet the powerhouses that’s are making waves in the world’s most influential industry. Marcella Sapone, co-founder of Hello Alfred (a subscription service to outsource household tasks); Anjula Acharia-Bath, a venture capital partner at Trinity Ventures; Tracy Young, the co-founder with husband Ralph Gootee of software firm PlanGrid; Del Harvey, Twitter’s Head of Trust and Safety; and April Underwood, a Vice President at software firm Slack. Ranging in ages from 26 to 43, the founders, investors and executives were transformed in to millionaires doing what they love. Changing the way, you communicate, date, get around and even do laundry. What they all have in common is they’re in full leadership roles, and have worked long and hard to get where they’re at today.
The youngest out of the group is 26 years old Whitney Wolfe, founder and CEO of the dating app Bumble. After her resignation from Tinder in 2014, where she was the only female member of its founding team, Wolfe started her new company to prove her critics wrong. With powerful roles that are largely unknown outside of the tech world. Women don’t have all the power we deserve; we don’t even have all the power that we need. The thing women have yet to learn is nobody gives you power. You just take it. That’s a truth these women know well.
